What you'll be doing

Ibnesina Clinic, a community-focused health and wellness provider with clinics in Pir Jo Goth and Islamabad, is seeking a dedicated Health Technician to join our Islamabad team. The role supports nursing staff, dispensary operations and basic clinical services, working closely with physicians and allied health personnel to ensure safe, efficient patient care and clinic operations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to patient safety and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist nurses and physicians with patient intake, vital signs measurement, basic wound care and specimen collection.
  • Prepare, label and dispense medications under supervision, maintain pharmacy stock and ensure proper storage.
  • Perform routine clinical procedures, maintain accurate patient records and update electronic or paper charts as required.
  • Ensure infection control standards, clean and prepare examination rooms and sterilize basic instruments.
  • Support appointment scheduling, triage incoming patients and communicate clearly with patients about basic instructions and follow-up.
  • Monitor medical supplies inventory, place orders for consumables and reconcile stock with dispensary records.
  • Participate in quality assurance and safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ibnesina Clinic offers a collaborative work environment with on-site supervision by nursing and medical staff. This position is based in Islamabad and involves regular on-site clinical duties during scheduled shifts.
