JAMHEX Company Pvt Ltd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the finance department with essential accounting functions and financial record maintenance.
The ideal candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger with high accuracy. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with experience using accounting software. The Assistant Accountant will ensure financial data is accurate and timely, support expense tracking and invoice processing, and collaborate with colleagues and external partners to maintain effective accounting practices and smooth financial operations within the company.
This position is suitable for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience who demonstrate strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

What you'll be doing
What we're looking for
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Sage or similar) and Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures.
- Ability to prepare bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable workflows.
- Familiarity with payroll basics, statutory deductions, and preparation of supporting payroll documentation.
- Understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing environments.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to produce accurate supporting schedules for audits.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English and Urdu for internal reporting and stakeholder interactions.
