What you'll be doing

JAMHEX Company Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Associate Engineer in Chemical Technology to support chemical process operations and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles, laboratory testing, and process optimization techniques. With a minimum of three years' relevant experience, the Associate Engineer will support process simulations and troubleshoot equipment to enhance production efficiency and ensure adherence to quality standards. This role requires proficiency in chemical analysis instruments and methods, with emphasis on maintaining product consistency through rigorous quality control testing. The position focuses on continuous improvement of chemical processes by interpreting process flow diagrams and performing statistical process control to monitor and improve production outcomes. The Associate Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective process improvements and support laboratory testing and analysis to verify product specifications. This role does not involve team management responsibilities but requires strong communication skills to report findings and coordinate with different departments.

What we're looking for

Conduct process simulations to design, optimize, and scale chemical production processes effectively.
Perform laboratory testing and chemical analyses using standardized techniques and instruments such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of chemical manufacturing units.
Interpret and utilize process flow diagrams (PFDs) to monitor process parameters and identify improvement opportunities.
Implement and maintain quality control and assurance practices to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Conduct statistical process control (SPC) to analyze production data and identify trends or deviations from specifications.
Develop and apply chemical analysis techniques to validate raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to investigate testing outcomes and provide data-driven recommendations.
Maintain and calibrate chemical analysis instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Document experimental procedures, test results, and process improvements for reporting and regulatory compliance.
