What you'll be doing

Opulux Services Pvt. Ltd., an architecture and planning firm based in Lahore, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our Lahore office near UCP. The successful candidate will support project teams by producing accurate 2D technical drawings and translating client sketches and emailed requirements into clear, production-ready drawings. You will work closely with architects and project managers to ensure drawings meet client specifications and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Review and interpret client-provided sketches, plans, and written requirements to produce detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings.
Create and maintain organized CAD files, layer standards, and drawing annotations suitable for construction and client review.
Produce plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings with accurate dimensions and notes.
Revise drawings based on client and internal feedback, ensuring version control and timely delivery.
Coordinate with architects and engineers to clarify technical queries and integrate disciplines into cohesive drawings.
Prepare drawing sets for printing and digital submission; ensure compliance with firm drawing standards and applicable local regulations.

This is an office-based role in Lahore reporting to project leads. Candidates should be prepared to manage multiple small-to-medium drawing assignments with consistent accuracy and timeliness. What we're looking for

Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting with proven ability to produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
Strong understanding of CAD layering, annotation, dimensioning, and line weights for construction documentation.
Able to read and interpret sketches, scanned plans, PDF attachments, and written client instructions.
Good organizational skills for file management, version control, and maintaining drawing standards.
Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, scaling, and layout.
Clear written and verbal communication to clarify client requirements and coordinate internally.
Basic knowledge of architectural drawing conventions and local drafting practices.
Ability to work within deadlines, handle revisions, and manage multiple drawing tasks simultaneously.
