Overview:
Mustakbil.com, a leading job site in Pakistan since 2004, is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Islamabad-based product team. You will design and build scalable, performant web interfaces that serve millions of users who search and apply for jobs daily. Working closely with product managers, backend engineers, and UX designers, you will own key areas of the web application, improve user experience, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize reusable frontend components and page-level features using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define APIs, integrate data flows, and ensure end-to-end performance and reliability.
- Translate UX and visual designs into accessible, responsive interfaces across desktop and mobile.
- Drive frontend architecture and coding standards, including component design, state management, build tooling, and testing strategies.
- Profile and improve application performance, render times, and bundle sizes for a high-traffic production site.
- Establish automated testing and CI/CD practices, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
- Mentor and coach mid and junior frontend engineers and help grow the frontend practice within the engineering organization.
