Job Title: Flour Mill General Manager

OverviewThe Flour Mill General Manager will manage mill operations, supervise employees, maintain production efficiency, ensure product quality, oversee hiring and staff development, and manage maintenance and inventory to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
Oversee daily mill operations; ensure smooth functioning of production departments; monitor wheat cleaning, grinding, packing, and dispatch; maintain production targets and efficiency; reduce waste and improve productivity; ensure proper machine utilization.
- Staff & Human Resource Management
Recruit, supervise, and train mill employees and operators; conduct interviews and evaluations; assign duties and manage schedules; maintain workplace discipline and professional conduct; resolve staff conflicts; monitor attendance and performance; support employee development.
- Production & Quality Control
Ensure consistent flour quality standards; monitor raw-material quality and milling output; implement and maintain quality-control procedures; maintain hygiene and food-safety standards.
- Maintenance & Technical Oversight
Coordinate preventive maintenance and timely repairs; monitor machine performance and downtime; collaborate with technicians and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
- Inventory & Supply Management
Monitor wheat stock, flour inventory, and packaging materials; maintain accurate inventory records; coordinate purchasing to prevent shortages and production interruptions.
- Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
Control operational expenses and support cost-reduction initiatives; prepare operational reports; supervise administrative activities; support management in planning and decision-making; ensure company policies are followed.
- Safety & Compliance
Promote workplace safety; maintain clean and organized production areas; ensure compliance with company and local regulatory requirements.
