Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Sales Executive & Truck Dispatcher. This role involves both generating new clients (owner-operators and small trucking companies) and managing daily dispatch operations for active drivers. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales abilities, and knowledge of the trucking and freight dispatch industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

Identify and generate new leads for owner-operators and trucking companies.

Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.

Explain company dispatch services, pricing, and benefits to potential clients.

Convert leads into long-term clients and close service agreements.

Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing support.

Track leads and maintain records in CRM or sales management tools.

Dispatch Responsibilities

Search and book loads for drivers using load boards such as DAT Load Board, Truckstop, and 123Loadboard.

Negotiate freight rates with brokers to maximize driver revenue.

Assign loads and plan efficient routes for drivers.

Communicate with brokers, drivers, shippers, and receivers.

Monitor shipments and ensure on-time pickup and delivery.

Handle issues related to delays, rescheduling, or load changes.

Maintain load documentation including rate confirmations and BOLs.

Keep drivers updated with load details and delivery instructions.

Requirements

Experience in truck dispatching, logistics, or freight brokerage.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Familiarity with load boards such as DAT Load Board, Truckstop, or 123Loadboard.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple drivers and leads simultaneously.

Basic knowledge of the U.S. trucking and freight market.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or CRM tools.

Self-motivated and target-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with owner-operators and small trucking fleets.

Knowledge of lanes, freight rates, and broker negotiation.

Prior experience in both sales and dispatch roles.
