What you'll be doing

Role Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to lead our outbound sales efforts for the US and European markets. This is a foundational role where you will have the opportunity to shape how Tekrra1 identifies, engages, and converts new clients. You will be responsible for building the entire outbound process from the ground up including research, outreach, qualification, and meeting setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Targeting
  • Identify and analyze target industries and companies that align with Tekrra1's service offerings.
  • Research and map key decision makers within target organizations.
  • Develop strategies to source accurate contact information.

Outbound Prospecting

  • Conduct cold calls to introduce Tekrra1's capabilities to potential clients.
  • Draft and send professional cold emails to prospects.
  • Leverage LinkedIn for outreach and professional networking.
  • Test and refine messaging approaches to optimize response rates.

Process Development

  • Create and document outreach scripts and email templates.
  • Establish follow-up sequences and cadences.
  • Build a systematic approach to tracking prospects and activities.

Lead Qualification

  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges.
  • Evaluate alignment between prospect needs and Tekrra1's services.
  • Gather relevant information to facilitate smooth handoffs to leadership.

Pipeline Management

  • Schedule qualified meetings for the leadership team.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects at various stages.
  • Track all prospect interactions and activities manually until CRM systems are implemented.

Reporting and Insights

  • Document daily outreach metrics including call volume, email responses, and meetings scheduled.
  • Provide regular feedback on messaging effectiveness and prospect objections.
  • Share market intelligence and competitive insights with the leadership team.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Experience selling IT services, software development, or technology solutions is preferred.
  • Experience targeting US or European markets is preferred.

Communication Skills

  • Proficient English speaking skills required.
  • Ability to conduct professional conversations with C-level executives and senior decision makers.
  • Strong written communication skills for emails and LinkedIn outreach.

Self Sufficiency
