Job Title: Senior Machine Operator / Supervisor

Department: Production.

Reporting to: Chief Machine Operator / Production Manager

Location: Kamion Pharma, Plot No. G-4/C, SITE, Super Highway Phase 2, Karachi, Pakistan

Job Summary:

Senior Machine Operator / Supervisor is responsible for running and supervising daily machine operations on the production floor. This role ensures smooth production, proper machine handling, staff coordination, and timely output while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and supervise PLC based production machines used for manufacturing medical devices.
2. Guide machine operators during daily production and make sure work is done properly and on time.
3. Ensure machines run smoothly and production targets are achieved.
4. Identify machine faults, handle minor issues, and report major breakdowns to senior staff.
5. Make sure products meet quality requirements by following approved procedures.
6. Train new operators and support existing staff in correct machine operation and safety practices.
7. Ensure cleanliness, gowning, and discipline, safety in sterile and controlled areas.
8. Coordinate with maintenance for regular servicing and repairs.
9. Keep simple production and machine records and report daily updates to seniors.

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum qualification at least intermediate (HSC or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment preferably in medical device or pharma.

Skills:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of machines and production processes.
• Practical experience working in sterile or controlled production areas is preferred,
• Ability to supervise staff and work responsibly under pressure.
• Basic understanding of quality and safety standards.

Working Conditions:

• Full time, on site position at Kamion Pharma’s manufacturing facility.
• Additional working hours may be required during high production periods.
