Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Kamion Pharma, Plot No. G-4/C, SITE, Super Highway Phase 2, Karachi, Pakistan
Job Summary:
The Production Manager at Kamion Pharma is responsible for overall planning, control, and execution of production activities. This role ensures smooth manufacturing operations, high product quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources. The Production Manager leads the production team, improves processes, and ensures that production targets are achieved safely, on time, and within approved quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily production activities to meet company targets while following DRAP, GMP, ISO, and company rules.
- Ensure production work is carried out according to approved SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Supervise production areas and make sure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper working conditions are maintained, especially in controlled and sterile areas.
- Work closely with QA and QC teams to resolve quality issues, deviations, and audit observations.
- Manage production staff, assign duties, provide guidance, and ensure workers follow procedures, SOPs and safety rules.
- Ensure machines and equipment are working properly and coordinate with the maintenance team to avoid breakdowns and delays.
- Monitor the use of raw materials and packing materials and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Look for practical ways to improve production processes, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Review batch records, production logs, and reports, and share updates with plat manager and management on a regular basis.
- Support internal and external audits and make sure corrective actions are completed on time.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in D Pharm. Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing facility.
Skills:
- Knowledge of wound care dressings, pain relief patches, surgical bandages & tapes and sterilization processes (e.g., EO, Electron Beam, Gamma Radiation).
- Strong working audit knowledge of GMP, ISO and DRAP regulatory requirements.
- Ability to plan production, manage teams, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full time, on site position at Kamion Pharma’s manufacturing facility.
- Additional working hours may be required during high production periods.
