About the Role:
The Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead its energy policy, regulatory affairs, and government relations portfolio. This role is critical in strengthening PSA’s voice across national institutions such as NEPRA, AEDB, FBR, DISCOs, and key government ministries.The ideal candidate will possess strong policy expertise, in-depth knowledge of the power and renewable energy landscape in Pakistan, and a proven track record of effective advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead PSA’s policy and advocacy initiatives at regulatory and senior government levels.
Develop policy papers, position documents, and regulatory submissions focused on solar and renewable energy.
Represent PSA in official meetings, government sessions, stakeholder consultations, and high-level sector forums.
Build and maintain productive relationships with regulators, ministries, DISCOs, and other strategic partners.
Track, analyze, and interpret policy reforms, regulatory changes, and sector developments impacting the solar industry.
Engage with PSA member organizations to align collective advocacy priorities.
Prepare reports, briefs, presentations, and communication materials for leadership and industry stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Energy Studies, or a related field.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in Government Relations, Policy Advocacy, or Regulatory Affairs within the Power, Renewable Energy, or Solar sector in Pakistan.

Industry Knowledge (Mandatory):

Strong understanding of Pakistan’s energy governance and regulatory structure, including NEPRA, AEDB, FBR, and DISCO operational frameworks.
