Position Overview:
The Visa Consultant will be responsible for guiding clients through the visa application process for various destinations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure all visa applications meet the required standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to clients on visa requirements, documentation, and application procedures for different countries.
- Assist travelers in completing visa application forms and preparing necessary supporting documents.
- Review and verify all client documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa application centers to track and expedite applications when necessary.
- Stay up to date with immigration policies, embassy regulations, and travel advisories.
- Maintain accurate records of visa applications and client interactions using company systems.
- Communicate proactively with clients to update them on the status of their applications.
- Handle complex or urgent visa cases professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal departments (ticketing, operations, customer service) to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Requirements & Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in visa consulting, immigration services, or corporate travel management.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Strong understanding of visa and immigration regulations for major destinations (Schengen, USA, UK, UAE, etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and travel management software (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre – preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving skills.
