Job Description
Position: Accountant (for Canadian & US Clients)
Time: 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (Monday to Friday)
Location: Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore (onsite job)
Salary: 90k -120k (based on interview)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Chart of Accounts Management: Maintain and manage the charts of accounts across various accounting platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
2. Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave Accounting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
3. Bank Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave Accounting to ensure accurate and consistent financial records.
4. Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and vendor management.
5. Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, and FreshBooks, maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
6. Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks, Xero, and Wave Accounting to identify and rectify discrepancies.
7. Invoice and Bill Creation: Generate invoices and bills in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other relevant software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
8. GST/HST Return Preparation: Prepare and submit GST/HST returns in compliance with Canadian tax regulations.
9. Canadian Payroll: Handle Canadian payroll tasks, including T4 and T4A preparation, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements & Skills
Requirements:
ACCA Qualified, Affiliate, or Part-Qualified (with at least 9 exams passed) or Bachelors/Masters in Accounting.
4 years of experience in the accounting field is required with minimum 1-2 years experience required of providing accounting services to international clients based in UK, US or Canada.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing (Canadian experience preferred; US/UK is also acceptable).
Proficient in QuickBooks online and Xero.
Familiar with GAAP, Sales Tax and Corporate Taxes.
Expertise in Payroll, Bookkeeping, Monthly Closing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable Management.
English Communication:
Excellent English communication both Speaking and writing
English should be at least 7 out of 10 overall (please don't apply if your English communication is not good)
