Accounts Officer

Responsible for maintaining ledgers, posting journal entries, preparing payments, bank reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting. Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file withholding tax challans for due payments.
• Maintain and update tax ledgers regularly.
• Prepare and monitor tax ageing reports.
• Carry out monthly sales tax workings, including Annex C and purchases.
• Support compliance with local taxation laws and regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers/customers on tax-related payment matters.
• Assist in audits and respond to tax authorities as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of taxation or compliance experience.
• Solid knowledge of withholding tax, sales tax, and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
