Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of the sales team to ensure achievement of assigned sales quotas. This role involves validating and verifying field visits made by sales representatives, identifying discrepancies in reporting, and implementing corrective systems to improve transparency and accountability. In addition to supervisory duties, the role requires direct customer engagement to both confirm visit data and contribute to sales generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Management

Lead, guide, and supervise the sales team to meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.

Monitor individual and team performance metrics and provide coaching where necessary.

Ensure the team adheres to the company’s sales processes and policies.

Field Visit Verification

Review and validate daily visit logs submitted by sales personnel.

Conduct regular checks and verifications by contacting customers to confirm visits and gather feedback.

Maintain accurate records of visit verifications for performance and compliance tracking.

System Improvement and Corrective Action

Investigate discrepancies or irregularities found in sales visit reports.

Develop and implement efficient systems or protocols to improve accuracy and reduce data manipulation.

Take disciplinary or corrective action when necessary, in line with company policies.

Customer Engagement and Direct Sales Support

Engage directly with customers during visit verification to identify additional sales opportunities.

Promote products or services during these interactions, helping to boost sales alongside the team.

Serve as a bridge between the sales team and customers to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales supervision, or field team management.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools or sales tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and integrity.
