Assistant Accountant - Work From Home / REMOTE

Job Description:
Razzaq & Co. is a Chartered Certified Accountancy firm based in Sheffield, serving clients across the United Kingdom. Our mission is to empower businesses to focus on core functions, improving productivity and profitability while we handle all accounting needs. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our remote team and help deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the senior accountants in tax and compliance activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide bookkeeping support and assist in payroll processing.

- Part-qualified ACCA or B.Com graduate with a minimum of 24 months’ experience in practice

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Good Knowledge of UK Taxation

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Good IT Knowledge

- Experience of using computer soft ware’s such as Xero, Sage (Preferable but not essential)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Access to high-speed broadband

- Quiet and well-organized home workspace with desk facilities

This is a fully remote position and would require the ideal candidate to work alongside the UK team. You will be willing to work according to UK business hours.

The ideal candidate will be based around the Rawalpindi/Islamabad area and work from home. Frequent face to face meetings will take place with the senior in Rawalpindi/Islamabad location.
