Job Title: Pharmacy Branch Manager

Shift Duration: 10 hours per day (Flexible between 7:00 AM – 2:00 AM)
Education Required: Intermediate (minimum), Graduation preferred
Experience Required: 8–10 years in retail and/or chain pharmacy operations
Supervisor: Operations Head / Managing Director

Position Overview
Nova Pharmacy, a key project of Nova Health, is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Branch Manager to oversee the full operational setup and performance of our pharmacy branch. The ideal candidate will be accountable for sales, inventory, staffing, customer service, and regulatory compliance while ensuring smooth, compliant, and profitable branch operations.

Proven ability to manage people, inventory, and sales operations
Main Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
Ensure customer queries are handled professionally by trained sales staff
Handle escalated complaints (pricing, refunds, returns, prescriptions)
Maintain effective relations with nearby clinics/hospitals
Ensure ethical and professional customer handling, including for credit clients
Monitor and evaluate sales staff performance regularly
2. Sales Administration
Oversee product dispensing, proper billing, and sales process
Ensure discipline, dress code, hygiene, and teamwork
Supervise shift scheduling and performance tracking
Plan doctor visits and promotional campaigns (e.g. handbills, sampling)
Prevent pilferage, enforce manual discount policy, and maintain inter-branch harmony
3. Inventory Management
Monitor expiries and manage shelf rotation (FIFO compliance)
Oversee ordering, receiving, placement, and storage of inventory
Ensure stock level optimization and returns of dead/expired stock
Coordinate inter-branch transfers with proper documentation
Monitor pricing/margin changes and ensure proper reporting and stock reconciliation
4. Sales Promotion
Visit doctors to boost prescription flow
Train team on product demos, brand awareness, and communication
Implement campaigns in line with company promotional policies
5. Pharmacy Management
Ensure clean, ergonomic layout of shelves and proper product placement
Liaise with maintenance for utilities and equipment upkeep
Ensure A/C and temperature-sensitive product compliance
6. Audits
Conduct routine and surprise audits of inventory and operations
Keep audit records, especially of high-value products
7. Accounts / MIS
Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports including:
Sales and purchase reports
Customer count
Attendance and performance logs
Staff salary details and overtime records
Variance reports and stock alerts
MIS reports as directed by management
Special Responsibilities
Train, mentor, and retain skilled team members
Monitor branch security and CCTV regularly
Complete additional assignments from senior management as required
