About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development with a strong background in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will be responsible for designing scalable architecture, driving best practices, and mentoring junior engineers, while delivering high-quality solutions for complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend and frontend solutions using the MERN stack.

Lead end-to-end development lifecycle – from requirement analysis and design to development, deployment, and maintenance.

Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, DevOps, and QA teams.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across platforms and devices.

Write clean, modular, and testable code with proper documentation.

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices and design patterns.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Skills:

MongoDB: Strong proficiency in schema design, aggregation pipelines, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.

Express.js: Extensive experience with building RESTful APIs, middleware, and authentication mechanisms.

React.js: Deep understanding of React architecture, component lifecycle, hooks, state management (Redux, Context API), and front-end optimization.

Node.js: Advanced knowledge of asynchronous programming, streams, clustering, and performance monitoring.

Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.

Experience with unit testing and frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.

Strong knowledge of web security best practices (CORS, CSRF, XSS, etc.).

Familiarity with microservices architecture and GraphQL is a plus.
