Chemistry Teacher

We require a Chemistry and Biology Teacher for O and A level to teach at our academy. Your job includes between 15 to 25 hours of weekly teaching time (classes may be online or in-person). The classes are spread over 6 days and are held in the evening between 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Your other responsibilities include testing students, generating a short report, and making notes to be given to the students every week for those lectures. Plus, occasionally appearing for educational and promotional material for the internet will be required.

A basic salary of Rs 85,000 plus a commuting allowance of Rs 20,000.

There will be a probation period of initial 3 months with 60% basic salary. After the probation period ends, your position will be converted to a permanent position based on our assessment and student feedback.

What you bring with you:

-You had Chemistry and Biology in your A-level, both subjects with a B grade or higher.

-A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biosciences or any comparable discipline.

-2+ years of O and A-level Chemistry or Biology teaching experience, at an institute or privately.

-Fluent spoken English and excellent presentation skills (This is the most important requirement).

-A passion for teaching and science communication. Ideally, you want to take up teaching as a career.
