Job Advertisement: Import Coordinator – Accountant
Position: Import Coordinator
Industry: Trading / Indenting (Petrochemicals & Polymers)

Job Type: Full-time (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Starting Salary: Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 30,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry of all purchase, sales, and trade documents in the company’s internal software system.
Maintain and organize complete documentation for imports, including Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, LCs, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading.
Keep accurate records of shipment timelines, document submissions, approvals, and payment statuses.
Coordinate with customers regarding LC opening, bank processing, and approvals to ensure timely execution of each transaction.
Liaise with banks, customers, and clearing agents to resolve document discrepancies or operational delays.
Track and record supplier commissions and ensure timely collection.
Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all trade-related documentation.
Ensure consistency and accuracy in all ledger entries and records.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; preference given to B.Com or accounting background.
1–2 years of experience in import/export coordination, accounting support, or data entry preferred (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Basic understanding of LCs, Incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping documents.
Strong command of MS Excel, Outlook, and data/document management systems.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
Comfortable communicating in both English and Urdu.
