Physics Teacher (O And A Level)

We require a Physics Teacher for O and A level to teach at our academy in DHA Phase 8. Your job includes 12-17 hours of weekly teaching time (About half classes are online and the other half in-person). The classes are spread over 6 days and are held in the evening between 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Your other responsibilities include testing students, generating short class reports and making notes to be given to the students every week for those lectures (Other than teaching, all other work can be done remotely from the comfort of your home). Plus, occasionally appearing for educational and promotional material for the internet will be required.

- A basic salary of Rs85,000 plus a commuting allowance of Rs15,000 and an internet allowance of Rs5,000.

There will be a probation period of initial 3 months with 60% basic salary. After the probation period ends, your position will be converted to a permanent position based on our assessment and student feedback.

What you bring with you:

- You had Physics and Mathematics in your A-level, both subjects with a B grade or higher.

- A Bachelors degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or any comparable discipline.

- 2+ years of A-level Physics teaching experience, at an institute or privately.

- Fluent spoken English and excellent presentation skills (This is the most important requirement).

- You have a separate quiet space at your home for online classes and are comfortable with using modern technology.

- Basic proficiency in the document processing software LaTeX, preferred but not required.

- A passion for teaching and science communication. Ideally, you want to take up teaching as a career.
