The Financial Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing and reporting on all financial transactions. This role involves preparing accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, an in-depth knowledge of financial principles, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
Strong Excel skills and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with tax preparation and compliance.

Requirements & Skills
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
Generate periodic financial reports and analysis for management review.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
Tax Compliance:
Oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance with local tax regulations.
Manage VAT and other tax-related processes.
Audit Support:
Assist with internal and external audits.
Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow.
Forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements and liquidity.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Identify trends and areas of improvement in financial performance.
Cost Control:
Monitor expenses and ensure financial controls are in place to prevent overspending.
Identify areas for cost reduction and recommend solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is available for operational decision-making.
Collaborate with senior financial management on strategic initiatives.
