Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor with a strong background in roads, asphalt, and bitumen works to join our infrastructure team. This pivotal role involves performing precision surveying to support the design, construction supervision, quality control, and documentation of road and pavement projects

Responsibilities

Lead topographic, alignment, cross-section, and setting-out surveys for new and rehabilitated roadways.

Establish control points, benchmarks, and accurate layout lines per design documents.

Collaborate closely with project engineers and asphalt/bitumen teams to ensure construction works follow alignment, elevation, and gradient specifications.

Conduct as-built surveys and quantity verifications for pavement layers—including subgrade, sub-base, base, and asphalt/bitumen lifts.

Monitor and record progress and quality during asphalt paving: lift thickness, compaction, temperature, and jointing.

Maintain detailed records: daily survey logs, field sketches, photo documentation, and survey-ready maps.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in road/transport infrastructure surveying, especially in asphalt and bitumen projects.

Proficient with modern survey instruments: total station, GPS/GNSS, digital level, data collectors, and software use.

Familiarity with asphalt concrete mix properties, compaction standards, and temperature control.

Demonstrated experience in survey support for hot mix asphalt, bitumen-tack applications, and repeatable pavement layers.

Strong knowledge of road design drawings and alignment specifications.

Excellent communication and on-site advisory skills.

High attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting abilities.

Capability to work under pressure, in outdoor conditions.

Preference for candidates with experience in quality control and field testing
