Job Description

We are seeking an organized and proactive Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our event venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the venue is well-maintained, managing procurement of necessary supplies (including groceries), and coordinating with staff to deliver exceptional service. This role also involves acting as a tour guide for visitors and clients, handling documentation related to events, and managing payments to ensure a smooth financial process. Candidates with graphic design skills will have a strong advantage for creating promotional materials and enhancing the visual appeal of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle procurement of groceries, tools, equipment, and other supplies needed for venue operations.
  • Keep detailed inventory and purchasing records to ensure efficiency and cost control.
  • Provide informative and friendly tours for potential clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate logistics, bookings, and staff assignments for scheduled events.
  • Manage documentation related to bookings, vendor contracts, and compliance.
  • Oversee and process all payments related to venue bookings, ensuring full payment is cleared prior to every event.
  • Schedule visitor appointments accurately and coordinate their timings to avoid conflicts and ensure a smooth experience.
  • Ensure all paperwork and approvals are completed and organized before each event.
  • Assist in basic graphic design tasks such as creating promotional materials, and digital content.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in venue, event, or operations management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience handling documents and payments.
  • Customer service or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Basic maintenance and facility oversight skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) are an advantage.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
