Web Developer (PHP/Javascript) With Accessibility Expertise (WCAG, Wordpress)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer with solid experience in PHP, JavaScript, and other web technologies to support our team in developing and optimizing modern websites. A key part of this role is the ability to implement WCAG-compliant accessibility improvements on WordPress websites.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Implement accessibility improvements according to WCAG 2.1 guidelines
• Work closely with designers and SEO experts to ensure a high-quality user experience
• Debug and optimize code for performance, accessibility, and SEO
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-standard, scalable, and inclusive web solutions

Your Profile:

• Solid experience in PHP and JavaScript (Vanilla and/or frameworks)
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
• Understanding of WCAG standards and hands-on experience implementing accessibility features
• Familiarity with tools like Lighthouse, Axe, or WAVE is a plus
• Independent, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious work style

• Ability to debug complex issues and implement reliable fixes
• Experience developing custom features beyond plugins or page builders
