National Scientific Corporation is a leading importer and supplier of scientific equipment and materials to tax-registered and unregistered customers across Pakistan. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Lahore.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting, finance, and bookkeeping operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing imports-related tasks and tax return preparation for our tax consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts

Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, reconciliations, and journal entries

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

Manage and coordinate imports-related tasks, including customs clearance and documentation

Prepare tax returns and related documents for tax consultants

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws

Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decision-making

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance

Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws in Pakistan

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
