Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

Collaborate with designers and content teams to bring their vision to life on the web

Build responsive websites that work across multiple devices and browsers

Troubleshoot, test, and debug issues to ensure optimal website performance

Implement website enhancements, including functionality, security features, and design updates

Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and accessibility

Stay up-to-date with WordPress trends, new tools, and best practices

Perform website migrations, updates, and backups as required

Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways as needed

Manage website hosting environments and work with web administrators for deployment

Provide ongoing website support and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development

Familiarity with MySQL or other database management systems

Expertise in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility

Knowledge of website optimization techniques for performance, SEO, and security

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, etc. is a plus

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Good communication skills and ability to take feedback
