Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System and Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on providing exceptional support across network infrastructure, Linux systems, and overall IT operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, assisting end-users with technical issues, and maintaining high levels of network performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support:

· Provide responsive and effective technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control for various systems and applications.

· Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.

· Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of IT hardware and software.

· Participate in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures. Offer training and support to end-users on IT tools and best practices.

Linux Support:

· Manage and support Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.

· Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to keep systems current.

· Configure and optimize server environments for various applications and services.

· Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes.

· Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and other automation tools.

Network Support:

· Provide comprehensive support for network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.

· Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues promptly and efficiently.

· Implement and maintain network security protocols and procedures to safeguard against cyber threats.

· Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal network performance and uptime.

· Collaborate with other IT staff to design and implement network improvements and expansions.

· Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator or similar role with a strong focus on support.

· In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware. Proficiency in managing Linux servers and related technologies.

· Experience with network security practices and technologies.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, RHCE, CCNP, Microsoft Certified Administrator) are a plus.

· English language Proficiency Level: Advanced/Intermediate
