Crypto Developer - 4+ Year Experience

Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Salary Range: PKR 250,000 – 400,000 per month (depending on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Crypto Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic blockchain and cryptocurrency team. As a Crypto Developer, you will work on building and maintaining blockchain applications, developing smart contracts, and implementing solutions using decentralized technologies. You will play a key role in creating blockchain-powered products, integrating cryptocurrency protocols, and contributing to the evolution of decentralized finance (DeFi) and related blockchain technologies.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of blockchain platforms, proficiency in smart contract development, and hands-on experience with cryptographic protocols. Key Responsibilities:

Blockchain Development:

Design and develop decentralized applications (dApps) using blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Polkadot, and others.

Implement and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms, ensuring their functionality, security, and scalability.

Develop and integrate crypto wallets, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.), and custom blockchain protocols into applications.

Smart Contract Development:

Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using languages like Solidity, Rust, or Vyper.

Conduct security audits and reviews of smart contracts to ensure they are resistant to vulnerabilities like reentrancy attacks, overflow/underflow, etc.

Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration of smart contracts with frontend and backend systems.

Cryptocurrency Protocols & Wallet Development:

Implement cryptocurrency protocols, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and DeFi protocols, to facilitate the seamless exchange of assets on the blockchain.

Develop, test, and maintain wallet integrations (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet) to support various cryptocurrencies and tokens.

Blockchain Infrastructure & Integration:

Build and maintain the backend infrastructure to support blockchain applications, including nodes, APIs, and services.

Ensure smooth integration of blockchain systems with traditional applications and web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, web3.js, ethers.js).

Blockchain Solutions for DeFi & NFTs:

Develop decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, including decentralized exchanges (DEXs), liquidity pools, staking mechanisms, and yield farming.

Build and integrate NFT platforms, minting smart contracts, and marketplaces using ERC-721 and ERC-1155 token standards.

Performance Optimization & Scalability:

Optimize blockchain code for speed, performance, and scalability, ensuring that dApps and smart contracts can handle high transaction volumes.

Monitor blockchain performance and resolve bottlenecks or latency issues.

Security & Audits:

Follow best practices for blockchain security and conduct regular audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Work with internal security teams or third-party auditors to ensure code quality, integrity, and safety.

Research & Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols, and decentralized technologies.

Contribute to research and development of new blockchain features, tokens, and smart contract innovations.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: At least 4 years of experience in blockchain development, cryptocurrency development, or smart contract development.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Blockchain Development, or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Blockchain Platforms: Proficiency in working with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Solana, Polkadot, Avalanche, or similar.

Smart Contract Development: Strong experience with smart contract development using Solidity, Vyper, Rust, or other blockchain-specific programming languages.

Web3 Development: Familiarity with web3.js, ethers.js, or similar JavaScript libraries to interact with the blockchain from frontend applications.

Cryptocurrency Protocols: In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency protocols, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS).

DeFi & NFTs: Hands-on experience in developing DeFi applications, liquidity pools, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and NFT platforms.

Backend Development: Experience in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, Java), with a strong understanding of building scalable systems.

Database Systems: Familiarity with decentralized data storage systems (e.g., IPFS, Filecoin) and traditional databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL).

Security: Understanding of blockchain security best practices, vulnerabilities, and techniques to secure smart contracts.

Mathematical & Cryptographic Skills:

Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, including hash functions, digital signatures, encryption, and zero-knowledge proofs.

Understanding of blockchain consensus algorithms (e.g., Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, Delegated Proof of Stake).
