Job Description
M&S International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Officer to join our team. As a Field Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain, procurement, and execution of logistics activities for the company. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution
- Create and maintain relationships with venders/suppliers.
- Estimate and establish budgets for purchases.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Review all venders and suppliers.
- Maintain purchase records and other important data.
- Negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
- Monitor and track the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and plan for future logistics needs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the logistics process.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to logistics activities.

Requirements & Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience required minimum of 2 -3 years in supply chain.
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role
- Must have knowledge of Imports and Exports.
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadline.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation related to logistics
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
