Job Description:
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to help our clients set and meet their strategic objectives, including ensuring a guaranteed minimum number of leads and conversions originating through SEO efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization, and analytics, with a strong focus on tracking and analyzing user journeys from the first click to conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic SEO Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to achieve strategic objectives and guarantee a minimum number of leads and conversions.
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-intent topics and optimize content to capture a relevant audience.
Content Creation & Optimization:
Produce high-quality, original content that aligns with identified themes and topics to attract and engage target audiences.
Optimize existing content for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
Tracking & Analytics:
Implement and manage tracking mechanisms to monitor SEO-originated traffic from various sources, including organic search terms and off-page blogs.
Analyze user journeys from the first click to conversion, providing insights to improve and refine SEO strategies.
Link Building & Off-Page SEO:
Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
Engage in guest blogging, partnerships, and other off-page SEO activities to enhance domain authority and search rankings.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Continuously monitor and report on key SEO metrics, including impressions, clicks, leads, and conversions.
Use data-driven insights to adjust and optimize SEO strategies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of our clients' digital presence.
Communicate SEO performance and insights to clients and internal stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Requirements & Skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience after undergraduate.
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Competencies:
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.
Understanding of PPC and other digital marketing channels.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
