Third Party Inspector

At MASC, the scope of inspection department is to provide third party vendor inspection services to its clients in the Industrial and Construction sectors. In this respect we are looking for a young, dynamic, qualified, and competent person to execute operational duties in this domain.

Academic Qualifications:

Associate Engineering degree / Diploma (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy, Mechatronics)

Preferred Certifications:

AWS CWI / CSWIP 3.1, / BGAS Grade 2 / NACE Level 2 / ASNT NDT Level 2 (MT, PT, UT, RT) / ASNT NDT Level 3 (Preferred) / API 510, 570, 653 (Preferred) /

Experience:

Minimum 2 years (Inspections)

• Exposure of various manufacturing technologies / methodologies used for equipment used in the Oil & Gas Industry. (i.e. PV, Tanks, Valves, Line Pipes)
• Extensive knowledge on Welding and Coating Inspections
• Working knowledge of NDT techniques
• Working Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards
• Working knowledge of various Specifications/Inspection Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the company and client business by performing high quality inspections of various materials/equipment at different stages of manufacturing.
• Conduct pre-inspection meetings prior to start of fabrication and finalize inspection and test plans
• Conduct inspection activities in strict compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications and project specification requirements
• Identify and report non-conforming products/activities observed during various stages of inspection.
• Timely reporting of inspection results in form of clearly understandable technical inspection reports.
• Maintain close coordination with the contractors, clients to ensure effective and efficient execution of work which meeting the customer requirements and expectations.
• Support the back office in enhancing the efficiency and productivity of operations.
