Experienced Bookkeeper - REMOTE

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of specific bookkeeping experience, be proficient in using bookkeeping software, and possess a strong background in accounting. This is a long-term position, with many of our team members having been with us for 3-4+ years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Coordinate with accountant for sales tax filings and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and double-check entries for accuracy.
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Provide support for ecommerce transactions and maintain related financial records.

Qualifications:

These are absolute musts:

- Incredibly reliable with excellent attention to detail.
- Kind, honest, and technologically adept.

Highly preferred:

- Background in ecommerce.
- Excellent ability to audit and double-check work.
- Experience with forecasting and financial planning.
- Solid accounting background.
