Senior Wordpress Developer

As a custom WordPress developer at GEO Consultants, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins. You will work closely with our design and content teams to ensure the websites are not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Modify and update existing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Ensure website functionality and performance meet client specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually stunning websites.
• Implement a responsive design for mobile compatibility.
• Optimize websites for speed and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Expertise in developing custom themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
