Senior Backend Engineer - Java

As a Senior Backend Engineer - Java at Loop, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core systems that power our fintech products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems using Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimize and improve existing code to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our systems.

• Experience: Minimum 4 - 5 years. Proven experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and Hibernate.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development and JSON.
• Knowledge of database systems, specifically SQL databases.
• Experience with Git and versioning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative, and organization skills.
