Job Title: Fire System Technician
Location: Base Station: Lahore/Can be Mobilized Across Pakistan
Reporting to: Project Manager/Technical Manager
Job Description:
The Fire System Technician will assist the engineering team (Projects Department, Service Department) in site surveys, safe work practices, installation, testing/inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. Ensuring installations are installed correctly to the relevant Fire system standard. The role will include responsibility for driving productivity and meeting deadlines set by the project manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Engage clients on-site with first-class customer experience.
• Responsible for the correct installation of fire alarm & fire alarm systems effectively using supplied drawings.
• Responsible for troubleshooting fire alarm systems effectively like GENT, HOCHIKI, MIRCOM, KENCTEC, etc.
• To manage day-to-day design issues with clients, M&E design teams, consultants, installers, and report back to the Project/Technical Manager.
• Ensure dismantling of extinguishers/Fire Alarm/Fire Protection Systems and examines mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replace worn or damaged parts as per standards.
Requirements & Skills
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Minimum DAE in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics or having an industrial engineering Diploma.
- Understanding and Troubleshooting of Fire protection and suppression System, Fire Pump system.
- Site Service Report writing, Client interaction.
- Fresh graduates or newcomers to the field are encouraged to apply as well.
