Textile Merchandiser

TO PLAN AND SUPPLY PRODUCT IN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY AS A MERCHANDISER BY DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND RANGE PLANS, MANAGING PERFORMANCE IN SEASON AND BY EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF DENIM PROCUREMENT IN ORDER TO DRIVE PROFIT IN LINE WITH AGREED FINANCIAL PARAMETERS AND THE CATEGORY STRATEGY.

• To execute RND activities, and post-delivery support.
• Oversee Production and monitor CMT procedures.
• Plan and Procure Textile Fabric as per requirement and demand.
• Plan and forecast Current and future demand.
• Carry out Sampling, production follow up, e.mail corresponding, costing, procurement.
• Work on new developments of samples.
• Manage stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
• Ensure the quality standards of finished goods with minimum Rate of Rejection (R.O.R).
• Measure products’ performance against agreed quality standard.
• Deal with vendors and manage relationship.
• Supervise and collaborate with team members.
