Direct the accounting practices and policies of the Company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, applicable laws and
Develop and implement financial and accounting systems, processes and controls that are efficient and effective to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reports of the business’s activities for management, Board and financial institution use.·
Direct the annual budgeting processes; provide the leadership in the development of the business’s financial plan in line with the agreed strategy, mission, objectives and values.·
Analyze and report progress to the financial plan and goals; provide an understanding of variances and trends that may impact future results.· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reporting packages to senior management, board, and investors.·
Establish and maintain systems and controls that protect company assets, verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data and provide proper information to improve cost and inventory control. ·
Files Federal, state and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, federal, states and municipal returns, extensions and quarterly payments.·
Recommends tax strategies by researching federal, state and local taxation issues

Requirements & Skills
8 plus years of accounting / finance experience in an entrepreneurial environment, experience with a private equity or venture capital portfolio company a plus.
3 plus years in a Senior Financial capacity ·
Experience preparing GAAP financials. ·
High level of computer skills with ERP systems, personal computers, MS Office products and other database systems. ·
Enjoys rolling up sleeves.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred ·
CPA or CA required
