Intermediate 3D Render Artist (Architectural Focus)

As a 3D Render Artist at Studio Saffron, you will be responsible for transforming architectural drawings provided by external clients into photorealistic 3D renders. Working closely with our internal team, you will create detailed 3D models for render purposes, and iterate on renders based on feedback to achieve the desired result.

While your primary focus will be architectural renders, you may also be asked to create 3D building models for use in our game production pipeline. This position is based in our Karachi office and requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive architectural drawings from external clients and interpret design specifications and requirements.
2. Create detailed 3D models and textures based on architectural drawings using industry-standard software.
3. Generate photorealistic 3D renders of architectural spaces, interiors, and exteriors.
4. Iterate on renders based on feedback given by internal stakeholders to achieve desired results.
5. Collaborate with our art and design teams to maintain visual consistency and quality across projects.
6. On occasion create 3D building models for use in game production pipeline, ensuring compatibility and optimization.
7. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in 3D rendering software and technology.

1. Candidates must be based in Karachi, Pakistan.
2. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field.
3. Three years minimum of proven experience in 3D rendering, with a strong portfolio showcasing architectural visualization projects.
4. Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, V-Ray, or similar.
5. Strong understanding of architectural terminology, design principles, and construction methods.
6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality renders consistently.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to work on both architectural and gaming projects as needed.
9. Display of familiarity with South Asian architectural styles is a strong plus.
