Web Developer / Graphics Designer

We are looking for a web designer who will be responsible for creating websites, this includes the design, layout and coding, this can mean working on a brand new website or updating an already existing site.

Responsibilities of the job include:

• Meeting clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them
• Drawing up detailed website specifications
• Designing sample page layouts including text size and colors
• Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs
• Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the websites
• Prepares site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
• Presenting initial design ideas to client
• Coding using a variety of software
• Working with different content management systems like wordpress, magento, ecommerce websites etc,
• Establishes locatability by registering with search engines
• Proofreading content and grammar and making changes where necessary
• Editing content, debugging code and re-designing web pages
• Handing the completed website over to the client
• Researching current design trends
• Continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments.
• Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages including html, Javascript and others
• Know-how of using wordpress sliders like Revolution slider
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
