IT Technician

Networking

1. Understands the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
2. Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate WAN & LAN.

Training & Lab Maintenance

1. Helps set up and maintain LRC and faculties.

Internal Systems

1. Assists in supporting corporate applications; internal corporate servers, user desktops, printers, scanners etc.
2. Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving.
3. Helps install and improve computer software and network equipment.

Service Desk Administration

1. Helps answer all trouble calls/emails and enters work orders into our tracking software.
2. Interacts with internal clients to resolve basic help desk issues; communicates with internal clients in a professional manner maintaining confidentiality.
3. Provides responses to internal clients in a timely manner.

Asset Management

1. Assists with the inventory management of hardware, and other IT supplies.
2. Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

Additional Responsibilities
1. Preparing Network deployment for any University’s any function anywhere.
2. Update Anti Virus Definitions
3. Assist the Administrator or Manager to deploy the new servers.
4. Rebuild or reorganize the crash services or servers

Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
