Job Description
- Creating/visualizing an idea and producing designs.
- Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes;
- Planning and developing ranges.
- Innovative designing for upcoming product volumes.
- Create and help in producing design for apparel, including casual wear, suits, sportswear etc..
Requirements & Skills
- A good eye for colour, texture and shape.
- An understanding of the characteristics of fabrics and how they can be used.
- Technical skills such as pattern cutting and sewing.
- The ability to spot and develop trends.
- Drawing skills.
- The ability to use computer design packages.
