Job Description

Monitor and manage all communication and resolve networking problems through effective implementation of preventive measures for IT network.
Determine and maintain all programs according to company and vendor standards.
Establish and ensure maintenance of notification according to requirements and monitor effects on system.
Inspect and recommend appropriate installation of operating systems and ensure better optimization process.
Analyze and identify all technical problems and provide consultation and training to help all users.
Assist users and provide Macbooks, PC, laptop, printer and network break support.
Analyze IT network systems and ensure compliance to all IT standard practices for job.
Prepare and maintain all records and files in relation to IT assets, network performance and problems for all routers/switches, LAN and Linux servers.
Assist users and communicate all IT policies to users and ensure user compliance.
Develop and facilitate various initiatives to develop user compliance activities.
Analyze and resolve problems and provide backup to company telephone system.
Implement and ensure upkeep of daily tape backups.
Computer Hardware & software installation and administration

Requirements & Skills

Technical Expertise, CCNP with hand on experience on Cisco Equipment
Knowledge of VOIP.
Linux Administration Experience (Fedora, CentOS, Debian etc)
Windows Administration Experience with Windows Server 2003 and 2008
Working experience with Apple Mac PC.
Knowledge of Network Monitoring Tools both Windows and Linux based.
Knowledge of Cabling, Patch pannel, Switch Administration and Troubleshooting Techniques.
