Job Description
There's more to web designing than creating beautiful websites. That is a big part of the job, but a lot goes into the design and creation of a website and the web designer juggles many responsibilities. Web/Graphic designers might develop ads, magazines, promotional materials, catalogs, or business reports.
Requirements & Skills
- Create wireframes, mockups and working HTML/CSS prototypes for responsive web & mobile applications.
- Work with and extend existing interface designs and patterns.
- Keen eye for design and layout for a B2B corporate audience
- Experience creating and manipulating graphics with Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven track record for working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to identify problems and raise issues
- Able to read and manipulate JavaScript
- A strong online portfolio displaying user-centred design.
- A broad understanding of web/mobile UI standards, grid system, responsive design frameworks, usability, and have design/developed user interfaces for web/mobile applications.
- CSS3, HTML5, Photoshop, Illustrator are a must - JavaScript, JQuery are nice to have.
