Job Description:
- Responsible for the delivery of operational support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure environment.
- Development and delivery of infrastructure projects, changes and improvements.
- Provides technical leadership in terms of the development of infrastructure strategies and plans.
- Mentoring of other team members and acting as an escalation point for incidents and requests.
Requirements & Skills
Other skills:
- 5 years of experience is required in the same industry.
- Knowledge of core Microsoft technologies (Windows, AD, Printing), virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware), NetApp storage solutions, FlexPod architecture, databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL), MS Exchange, Citrix, UNIX, and, web technologies is highly desirable.
- Deliver the required technical service outcomes, as planned.
- Contribution in key technology design decisions, guide technical teams through various phases & report the progress to the concerned management and project stake-holders.
- Create feasible optimal infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and minimize the risk.
- Contribute to the development of the human resource capabilities to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
- Should be able to work efficiently and effectively across diverse cultures and time-zones.
