Position Summary:
As an Accounting Associate at Excellence Solutions Inc., you will play a crucial role within our BPM Financial Services Operations and Delivery department. We are looking for a fully qualified ACCA or a CA Finalist who is eager to learn and contribute to our company’s success. Fresh graduates (Bachelors in Accounting & Finance and B.Com) are encouraged to apply. This role offers an opportunity to work with our partners, Toronto-based Accounting & Tax Practice. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various segments including, but not limited to bookkeeping, corporate tax structuring, financial reporting, and ad-hoc tasks. The candidate should perform related duties as assigned by supervisor and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain precise financial records (payable and receivable).
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing statements and management reports.
• Tax Structuring: Analyze tax implications and develop tax-efficient strategies.
• Partnership: Collaborate with partners, providing operational and ad-hoc support.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in analyses supporting decision-making.
• Ad Hoc: Work on various tasks supporting the Senior Partner.

Requirements:

• Experience: Fresh graduate and/or minimum 1 year experience in Assurance - Audit, Tax, or Financial Reporting within a professional services firm.
• Education: BBA Accounting & Finance or B.Com.
• Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA or part-qualified CA (Preferred)
• Knowledge: Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP; detail oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills; professional demeanor.
• Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Preferable knowledge of Caseware or Countable.
