Job Description

· To accompany administrator, consultant, MO or matron during rounds and follow their instructions.

To fully aware of all the patients, their diagnosis, condition/status and plan which are admitted at their duty areas.
For daily bedding with the help of Ayas/ward boys.
To washing and combing of patients with the help of nursing assistant/Nurse hygienists.
To maintain patient’s files, admissions and discharge records.
To generate indent and deliver medications on prescribed timings
To generate indent and deliver diagnostic services, with the help of concerned staff.
To maintain T.P.R and other charts of the patient’s files.
To give and take shift surgical, ICU, CCU, Labor room patients to and from one ward to other according standard operating procedures.
To give and take proper written over shift to shift.
To supervise and maintain peaceful and calm atmosphere in the wards.
To ensure proper placement and dispose off of hospital waste.
To never leave the ward un-attended.

BScN or 4 years of Diploma in General Nursing

Compliance of hospital policies and procedures.
Supervision of Ayas / Ward boys’ activities according to their assigned jobs.
Supervision and training of junior nurses and nurse hygienists.
Perform duties according to changing activity and patient’s dependency by optimum management of available resources.
