Distillation Water Plant Operator 3

Operator will perform the operation and control of electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of raw water into the treatment plant; participate in the distribution of specified chemicals into water and adjusting automatic devices in order to disinfect, deodorize and clarify water; monitor panel board and adjust controls to regulate flow rates, loss of head pressure and water elevation, and distribution of water; test water samples to determine acidity, color and impurities; and perform mandated testing.
