Job Description
- Working with the management team to provide strategic lead on the fleet management systems technology, analyzing and prioritizing developments, outlining opportunities and ensuring a pro-active and innovative approach to company’s goals.
- Accountable for the delivery of all technology related projects including developments of new software’s, network structure and ongoing enhancements
- As a senior member of the department, provide support for the organization as a whole
- Continue strategic approach, innovation and best practices in the use of technology and IT for best use of fleet management systems.
- Make decisions on short and long term uses of technology within the development/product roadmap in consultation with the senior management.
- Lead and manage technical team with clear structure and processes for the department
- Manage development plans, budgets, project execution time estimates.
- Ensure security across all of the company’s technical systems and currently used software’s and network.
- Work with other departments within our organization to resolve issues and get maximum return
Requirements & Skills
- Significant experience in managing IT projects from inception to delivery either in a networks, web development or systems management environment for vehicle tracking company
- Exceptional hands-on experience with networks, software development & systems management
- Large awareness of the current technology for fleet management information systems.
- Must be creative with initiative and drive
- Must take a pro-active approach and be a team player
- Have knowledge of network infrastructure hosting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Strong leadership skills to manage team.
