Web-Tronix is looking for an experienced Wordpress developer who can create a proprietary theme and plugins for us, and then replicate it for our clients on an as-needed basis.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and manage Wordpress installations on the same domain as the client.
- Develop multiple wordpress themes.
- Install and configure a set of plugins (to be determined) and develop new plugins as needed
- Build SEO-friendly themes that are read easily by Google.
- Expertise translating designs with a good understanding of usability and appreciation for good user experience.
- Ongoing debugging and maintenance as needed on a retainer basis.
Requirements & Skills
Professional Skills/Edges:
- You are stylesheet and responsive savvy, but the most important thing is that you understand SEO and how Google reads a website.
- Ability in Optimizing SQL queries for performance in mysql
- You’re an ultra-clean designer and you’d never think of developing a site without a sitemap.
- You can manage intelligently between quality and hard deadlines.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills, must be a team player and disciplined.
- Ability with github ideally in a team environment (multiple developers one repository) and can describe their normal github workflow.
- Experience building responsive and mobile experiences
- Communication: Strong verbal, as well as, written communication skills in English.
- Have solid knowledge of other open source technologies is a preferred.
- Awareness of software development lifecycle.
- Good technical documentation skills
